Companies lack properly thought-out and holistic strategies... This has to change!

Very often, companies lack properly thought-out and holistic strategies. What they usually have is a set of ambitions or goals that are vague when it comes to prioritization, resource allocation, and implementation. What we need is a clearer understanding of what strategy truly is and how it should be developed.

Strategy is not a once-a-year event carried out during an executive retreat in the form of planning. Instead, strategy development is a continuous and iterative process that involves answering key questions like: What needs do we fulfill? Who are we serving? What do we want to achieve? How are we creating and delivering value? And what capabilities do we need to have in place?

These answers should not solely come from executives but rather be informed by sensing the market and learning from our own and others' experiences.
